The greatest tips for World of Warcraft.
Easiest Classes to Level Hunters,
Shadow Priests, and Rogues fall in this category. Hunters
can tame a pet and have it fight by its side. That pets main
purpose is grab attention of the mob while you shoot it. With
the Wrath of the Lich King expansion talent point updates you can
master in beast mastery and make your pet almost invincible to in
game mobs. Hunter's can also track humanoids, stealth mobs,
beasts, and undead. You can use this tracking to help you find
quest objects such as people you have to kill in order for something
to drop. Alliance Dwarf Hunters can find treasure which will
make your questing even easier since it will allow you to track some
quest items. Hunters can run faster at level 20 using the aspect
of the cheetah. Be careful, you can get dazed while using this
aspect but it makes it nice if you have two gather professions.
They also have talents points that increase your mount speed so you
can get from point A to B faster. Other race mentions:
Orcs have a pet damage bonus as well as an attack power bonus.
Orcs rock for the Horde! Blood Elf hunters can
restore mana with their racial ability. Alliance
Night Elves have an racial ability to Hide in the Shadows.
Great way to get the jump on someone that does not see you.
Hunters start out wearing leather, and at level 40 can train to use
mail. Shadow
Priests can heal themselves while doing massive damage.
Priests can usually find a group too quite easily. You also
can get more group quests done since people are usually looking for
a healer. Priest's also get a stamina buff, drain mana from
the enemy, and bubble themselves so they can get a cast off and
reduce damage taken. You will have to wait until level 30 to
get a mount since Priests have no run speed bonus. One nice
thing about leveling a priest is you can pick up enchanting and
tailoring. Since you will always get cloth drops you can use
it to make bags, and armor. Enchanting will allow you to
enchant your weapons and armor thus improving otherwise dreary
gear. On the Horde side you can pick between Undead, Blood Elf's,
and Trolls. Blood Elf's and Trolls are the better classes to
roll as a priest. Blood Elf's can restore mana, and Trolls can
increasing their casting speed through Berserking healing themselves
or a friendly target faster. Alliance classes such as Humans
and Night Elves make great priests too. Rogues
are just as fast if not faster at leveling as priests. Rogues
can get sprint which increases their run speed for 15 seconds.
Which can help when you have to run around until you get your
mount. They can also stealth around and get to certain quest
items or people without having to fight their way in. You can
also SAP a guard instead of fighting two guards at once. This
will incapacitate the target for 30 seconds while you kill the other
mob. A lot of times Ambush can take an enemy down to half
health. This makes killing that much faster. Rogues can
make additional funds by leveling their lock picking skill.
People will tip you to open their lock boxes. You can check
out my World of Warcraft Lock Picking Tip Page to find out how to
increase your lock picking skill. Dwarf Rogues, Orc Rogues,
and Undead Rogues make for the best rogues in the game. Dwarf
Rogues have the ability to Find Treasure and use Stone form.
You can find any lock box, chest, or quest item that is
trackable. This can speed up leveling on the Alliance
side. Orc Rogues have the ability to increase their attack
power, doing more damage. Undead Rogues can eat corpses to
replenish their health. Makes it quite handy to kill mobs and
level faster when you do not have keep using food that is often
slower to replenish health. Auction
House Use
the auction house to your advantage. You can buy and sell
items that are not bind on pickup at the auction house. Best
thing to do is search for the item you want to sell before you
actually post the auction. You can sell your item faster if
you undercut the other seller by 5 percent. If you have more
than one character on the server you should always send stuff to
that character if you do not need it so you other character can use
it first. But after its all said and done you can make enough
gold to purchase all your mounts and training needed. Refrain
from upgrading your gear every couple of levels. This is a
waste of gold. Better gear will help you level faster and keep
you from dying longer but purchasing new gear every level can get
costly without improving on the gear you had. If you quest you
will get gear and weapon upgrades. Any item that is green blue
or purple can be disenchanted and the mats can be put up at that
Auction House. You can also put your profession items at the
auction that are leftover from leveling your profession skill.
Their is an add-on called Auctioneer.
This add-on automatically searches the auction house showing you
what items sell for, and what items you can purchase that are below
what items normally sell for. Be careful when downloading add-ons,
your account can get hacked. www.Curse.com
also has Auctioneer you can
download. www.thottbot.com
and Quest Help Many
sites offer quest information but I use Thottbot it is a great site
for looking up the quest you need help with. You just have to
know name of the quest and it will pull up all the information from
other users have posted about the quest. This will save you
tons of time and frustration if you know where to go to finish
quests. Use
the World of Warcraft Armory The
Armory will show you automatic item upgrades, and will allow you
to research other players in the game. Type in your characters name
and you are on your way to see you guild stats, character stats, or
stats from others in your guild or in the game. You
Can Set Key Bindings Key
bindings will help you in game. You can set auto target, run,
jump key bindings so you only have to press a key on your key
board. I usually set the auto target so I can keep attacking
instead of clicking all over the screen to select the next
target. Research your key bindings and try it out. If
the key is on the other side of the keyboard bind the key that is
closer for you. Auto
Self Cast, Show Target, and Auto Loot In
your interface options you can set these to automatically work for
you. Auto self cast is casting on yourself instead of clicking
on your picture then clicking on the spell. This can save you
if you are close to dying. Show Target shows your target and
what they are casting or doing to you. Often you can interrupt
spell casts or heals if you can see what the enemy is doing.
Auto loot allows you to pick up loot with out having to pick up each
item in the loot. Shift
Click is Your Friend Shift
right click on items will allow you to split stacks of items, link
items to others in chat, and link quests to friends and guild mates.
You can also shift click on your battle ground icon on your mini map
and pull up a mini battle ground map! Ask
Guards in Major Cities and Use Your Mini Map If
you find your self lost in a major city you can always ask a
guard. They will put an arrow on your mini map to show you
where you need to go. Use your mini map in towns to locate
repairs, trainers, and vendors. Profession
Trainers Will Tell You Where to Go Next If
you can not be trained any further from a profession trainer - the
trainer will tell you where to go next. Weapon
Masters are Located in the Major Cities Training
in different weapons will allow you to use weapons you might not
other wise be able to use. Certain classes can use certain
weapons. Set
your Hearth Stone to Shattra Get
a port to Shattra from a mage. You can then set your
hearthstone to an inn there and use the portals to navigate more
quickly to the major cities. Always tip the mage if you can.
