Save time and money renting movies!
Netflix
is great for avoiding late fees. You can try them out for free
and they have some nice inexpensive monthly packages. Netflix
is easy to use and manage on the web. If you haven't tried
Netflix you should, especially if you rent a movie every now and
then. You can now watch movies online from Netflix.
If
you rent every week you will want to try out the local grocery
stores. Safeway/Carrs offers Blu Ray and regular DVD movies. I have found that grocery stores offer the same great
movies for almost half the price of some of the big video
stores. Often they free rentals too and extended viewing days
to give you more time to watch.
Blockbuster
now has an online service which allows you to rent movies on line
and return the movies either via mail or back to a store. You
can also rent from a store near you. This is the mostly costly
way to rent movies is through a video store that charges horrendous
late fees and you have to return the movie the next day. That
in itself can be a pain just incase something pops up. However
you do get a better selection of movies than a local grocery store
and they carry TV. series if you are into renting
those.
Redbox
is great for renting movies too for only a $1.00, you just have to
return them the next day or you can pay another dollar.
You can now reserve online and pick up at the Redbox kiosk you just
have to have a credit card. Often they are out of movies and
do not carry updated new releases. But for a $1.00 you cannot
beat that prices especially if you are in the area. Also be
aware that if you keep the move for 24 days or longer you just
bought the movie.
Hollywood
Video is setup similar to the average video store however they
offer 5 day rentals for the same price most charge for next day
rentals. They have a huge selection of previously viewed
movies that you can purchase for a good price
too.
